Disabilities
DESCRIPTION:
In many communities in the majority world, children with disabilities face even greater disadvantages in accessing healthcare, education, and resources. Parents love their children but are insufficiently equipped to help them thrive. There are often social stigmas or misconceptions that further isolate these children from their communities.
The gospels tell many stories of Jesus’ ministry and compassion to those with disabilities. Please join us in praying for the witness of the local church in their care for this “forgotten” population—that it would be the first to stand and challenge.
PLEASE PRAY FOR:
- For local pastors and church members who are working to give children with disabilities an opportunity for education
- For the church to be a welcoming and compassionate place for families with children with disabilities
- For the church’s care for the vulnerable to be a witness in their community and a testament to the good news of Christ.
