Social Innovator Jeff Mukolwe recently followed up on a CCS Seminar that was run in Kenya last December. He writes, “Our host pastor of the last CCS has been visiting several participants in their local churches and got to hear many uplifting testimonies of how Sunday School classes are being conducted by teachers with a transformed mindset on children.
“One of the participants who’s a Sunday school teacher has initiated a parent’s gathering in their church for a 2-hour talk every Saturday, sharing with them the 7 Biblical Frameworks of a child. She said:
“ ‘Our culture doesn’t put a lot of value on a child’s upbringing and therefore causes children to miss out on so many aspects of both social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual abilities.”
We are encouraged to hear that the seminar in December is continuing to have impact throughout communities and creating long-term change!
